This is indeed good news! For the sake of freedom of speech (especially religious speech) not only in Europe but in this country as well, this case will hopefully stand as a kind of 'test case' if future litigation is taken against people of faith.

This is indeed good news. OTOH, it just shows the weaponization of courts and laws. Even though the charges were ultimately dismissed, they still had to pay for lawyers and they had to deal with months on uncertainty. So, while they were vindicated in the end, the harassers still made them pay.

According to at least one press release, the prosecution was ordered to pay the defendants' legal costs.

Thanks for letting me know that. I think if the charges are dropped that should be what happens. I've seen too many situations where someone sues someone else simply to drain them dry via legal fees. Scientology was notorious for that.
