Good advice, although hard to monitor unless we actually have monitors in the homes. I always begin by saying "You can see me, but I can't see you." In terms of piety, what we've found is that
a) the people do in fact sing the songs and hymns at home. When we fail to provide the texts there's immediate chatter about it.
b) the people listen to the sermons. They communicate that throughout the week in comments
c) incredible increase in prayer requests which are then followed as the prayers of the people take place
d) the benediction - folks tell me they rise to receive it wherever they're watching.
And - I think it's important for the priest/pastor to indicate how much it hurts that we're not together in person as Fr. Memorich indicates.
