It's still being litigated.  It's not over until it's over.

Indeed.

"The Third Circuit Court of Appeals granted the Trump campaign's request for an expedited review of a lower court's decision to dismiss a lawsuit over voting in Pennsylvania."

Yes ... the following is President Trump’s tweet concerning the GSA

https://mobile.twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1331013907859845121

Quote
I want to thank Emily Murphy at GSA for her steadfast dedication and loyalty to our Country. She has been harassed, threatened, and abused – and I do not want to see this happen to her, her family, or employees of GSA. Our case STRONGLY continues, we will keep up the good...

Maggie Haberman writes about the significance of Emily Murphy:

"Ms. Murphy’s designation of Mr. Biden as the apparent victor provides the incoming administration with federal funds and resources and clears the way for the president-elect’s advisers to coordinate with Trump administration officials.

"The decision from Ms. Murphy came after several additional senior Republican lawmakers, as well as leading figures from business and world affairs, denounced the delay in allowing the peaceful transfer of power to begin, a holdup that Mr. Biden and his top aides said was threatening national security and the ability of the incoming administration to effectively plan for combating the coronavirus pandemic.

"And it followed a key court decision in Pennsylvania, where the state’s Supreme Court on Monday ruled against the Trump campaign and the president’s Republican allies, stating that roughly 8,000 ballots with signature or date irregularities must be counted."

Wake up and smell the. coffee.

INFORMAL•NORTH AMERICAN
become aware of the realities of a situation, however unpleasant.
"keep an eye on your friends, who may be using you—wake up and smell the coffee!"

Also,  on the issue, another reading from the Times:    "Emily Murphy, a Trump appointee who runs the agency in charge of presidential transitions, formally designated Joe Biden as the election’s apparent winner. Murphy’s move provides Biden with federal funds for his transition and authorizes Biden’s aides to begin working with Trump administration officials.

"On Twitter, Trump signaled that he accepted the decision, but he did not concede. He also indicated that he would continue his legal efforts to overturn the election result, but they have shown no sign of success. (Election officials in Michigan and multiple Pennsylvania counties yesterday certified their election results.) In every substantive way, the Trump presidency is now coming to an end."

One would think that the objective should be to increase confidence in the manner in which the election was administered.

The bolded statement does the exact opposite ... increases doubt and furthers the belief that election irregularities exist.

It would be great if links to quoted material is included .., it’s so easy to do .., failure to provide this common courtesy further raises doubts as to the validity of the post.

The election was fair.  The votes were properly counted.  President Trump's campaign undermines the American way of doing government.  It is un-American.

And he is intentionally causing serious problems for the new president. Childish. Vengeful. Unpatriotic. Actually hurting the economy and our citizens. Possibly illegal. And dangerous.

Pompeo had no business going to the settlements in the last weeks of his time as Secretary of State.
The thought that the current administration does not have the duty and responsibility to continue the daily operations of government simply indicates a disregard and lack understanding and respect for the United States constitution.

TRUMP’S HIGH NOON

Do not forsake me, oh my Trumpkins
On this you must be strong
Do not forsake me, oh my Trumpkins
Wait, wait along
They say the vote was for Joe Biden
And yet I know I won instead
I’ll find those votes that they’ve been hidin’
Or die a-tryin’, I’ll keep on tryin’
I’ll keep on tryin’ til I’m dead

Never concede that I’ve been beaten
Couldn’t be true without they’s cheatin’
Trouble is when you’re all along
Hearin’ fake news
He tried to win while he was hunker’d
Down where they kept him all a-bunker’d
I’ll prove it all in time, but oh
How can I win if you leave me?

Do not forsake me, oh my Trumpkins
I’ll be your president again
Do not forsake me, oh my Trumpkins
Although you’re grievin’, I ain’t a-leavin’
I just caint let Joe Biden win.

Wait along, wait along
Wait along, wait along

How do you know any of those things firsthand? You don’t. You have to trust various accounts. Those accounts come from people who are known to lie in concert with one another. They may prove to be telling the truth this time, but they’ve cried wolf often enough and showed their bias often enough that they have only themselves to blame if many people don’t trust them even when they tell it like it is.

Not to mention failing to do his job as president, instead hiding out and tweeting lies and nonsense.

Four years ago, Paul Krugman stated that the stock market would never recover from Trump's election. Indeed, he stated that Trump's election would bring about a global recession. (from an article published NYT 11/09/2016)

He also predicted that we would enter a COVID recession from which we'd never recover (actual 3rd quarter growth was 33%).

One would think that, having missed those predictions by a mile, he would be much more circumspect in making other predictions. One would also think that others would be careful about recommending someone who made such an error.

But you are the guy who quotes Rush Limbaugh, so...

There are such things as objective facts, Peter. And the fact that Trump won the election and that it was not fatally flawed is one of those objective facts.

Peter, if certain sources told you that sunrise would be at 6:20 AM tomorrow, you would be inclined not to believe them. If certain sources told you that climate change was a threat to the entire planet, you would not believe them. When screaming Trump supporters say the election was flawed, you will say “well yeah probably let’s check it out.“ even after numerous sources on various places on the political spectrum. have shown that the election was not invalid.

I know a lot more about propaganda than you do. I tend to recognize it; you tend not to unless you disagree with it.

Nobody would doubt anyone who said when the sun would rise; there would be no one disagreeing and no reason for anyone to lie. But when there are competing accounts and obvious ulterior motives for saying one thing vs. another, then it all comes down to trustworthiness. That's why I say let it play out. No harm can come of that. Btw, your decree of what is an objective fact was, I think, fatally flawed, unless you meant to say that it is unarguably true that Trump won the election.

Is this really how you place the best construction on everything… Incessantly slandering and belittling and personally attacking anyone with whom you disagree?

Please accept that there are opinions valid opinions other than your own .. it seems we respect yours without the name calling you seem to find necessary.
