Can we stop this meaningless thread? How many times do I have to state my generally high regard for the LC-MS, even as I disagree with some of their positions? And if fellow ELCA pastors speak of our church body in an especially hostile way, I am likely to call them on it. They ought to be able to take it.

Can you show me large numbers of "conservative" pastors leaving the ELCA? I doubt it.

I still object to anonymous postings here, but I do occasionally respond to such people.

Of course a definition of "conservative" pastors" would have to be established.   Based upon the article in the Lutheran concerning understandings of the bible as true or containing errors?
