It is another example of how some in society, even among those who are generally respected,  are little by little rehabilitating pedophilia.

I'm not saying that it is a large movement, or some sort of a conspiracy.  Nor do I think that his comments will immediately lead to repeal of laws against pedophilia.   But Richard Dawkins is not an obscure person fronting for a fringe group.   He is considered by  many a serious thinker in the ideological debates of our day in addition to being a respected scientist.

A propos the topic title,  if the notion of ananymous Christians is to be entertained, Perhaps Richard is an anonymous Lutheran?  Who could tell?
