But on the other hand for those in the ELCA who were not in favor of the 2009 decisions, Bp. Eaton's remarks came across as much more gracious and--wait for it!--"inclusive" than the others who didn't even acknowledge that everyone is not on the same page about this.

In that regard, she really was the only one of the four who not only acknowledged but spoke directly to the elephant in the room.
