Yes, it seems all the diabolical forces of a world gone wrong are converging on Minneapolis this week. Favre a Viking. Opposing gay marriage equated to opposing the Holy Spirit. Can it be a coincidence that I lost my "Life Is Good" hat on vacation?

The best thing about the Favre circus is that it is knocking the ELCA off of the front page of the StarTribune and using up a great deal of media oxygen.  Is it possible that this is a God thing? 

Three people have been by my office to talk about Favre. Only one asked about the ELCA thing.
